NSW police seek help after serious assault at Nowra

Police are seeking information from the public about the serious assault of a woman on the state’s South Coast at the weekend.

About 10pm Saturday (11 December 2021), a 28-year-old woman attended licensed premises on Junction Street, Nowra, before being found outside the venue a couple of hours later by friends, who took her home.

The woman woke the following day to discover she’d suffered a serious assault but had no knowledge of the circumstances.

She sought treatment at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on Monday (13 December 2021), before alerting police.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District have commenced an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information that may assist investigators to contact Nowra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
