Police investigating the death of a young woman after falling from a car at Quakers Hill last month are today appealing to the public for information which might shed some light into the circumstances surrounding her death.
About 10.10pm (Thursday 25 June 2020), emergency services were called to Hambledon Road, Quakers Hill, after reports a woman had fallen from a moving car.
The woman, a 23-year-old from The Ponds, could not be revived and died at the scene.
Officers attached to Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
As inquiries continue, Detective Superintendent Donna McCarthy from Quakers Hill Police Area Command today appealed for public assistance.
“We appeal to anyone who might have been driving in the vicinity of Hambledon Road, Quakers Hill, on the night of Thursday 25 June to come forward,” Det Supt McCarthy said.
“It is possible they may have dash-cam footage of the incident without realising the importance to police of the recording.”
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
