NSW police seek information after horses stolen from disability association at Griffith

Rural Crime Investigators from the Murrumbidgee Police District are investigating the disappearance of two horses from a disability association in Griffith last month.

The horses – Sapphire and Victory – are believed to have been stolen from a property on Rankins Springs Road, Myall Park, between 6pm Friday 14 January 2022 and 11am Saturday 15 January 2022.

The horses are used to help residents living with disabilities through therapy.

Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District were notified, and Rural Crime Investigators commenced inquiries to their whereabouts

Victory is a Dun Welsh pony, is microchipped and stands around 13 hands, with a white blaze and one white sock.

Sapphire is a Pinto (black and white) painted Welsh mare and stands around 15 hands.
