NSW police seek information after man shot

Police are appealing for information and an investigation is underway after a man was shot in Sydney’s west this morning.

Emergency services were called to a unit block on Rowe Drive, Potts Hill, just before 4.30am (Sunday 26 December 2021), after reports of a shooting.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and found a man suffering gunshot wounds.

The 29-year-old was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.

Following initial inquiries, a second crime scene was established on Nobbs Road at Yagoona, where a White Toyota Hilux was located well alight.
