Police are responding to a serious crash in Ashburton this morning.
Emergency services were notified of a vehicle colliding with a power pole on Lismore Mayfield Road about 7.15am.
Initial reports suggest one person has been seriously injured.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified and cordons are in place.
