Police can now release the name of the man who died following a light aircraft crash near Old Man Range, Central Otago, on Wednesday 3 February.
He was Phillip Gordon Pullar, 62, of Central Otago.
Police extend their sympathies to his family and friends.
His death has been referred to the Coroner.
