One month until IMARC Online

Victoria’s resources sector is going from strength to strength and now is utilising the latest technology to connect internationally and stay on top of industry trends and opportunities.

Victorian Minerals exploration is at record-breaking levels coupled with increases in production of some of the highest-grade gold in the world, headlined by the Fosterville gold mine.

In 2018-19 Victorian gold production increased by around 55 per cent from the previous year, to a level not seen for more than 100 years. During the same period, investment in minerals exploration, a measure of industry confidence, increased by 39 per cent.

To keep this momentum going during worldwide economic uncertainty, it is more important than ever for Victoria’s resources sector to connect globally to share knowledge that could result in business opportunities and local jobs as the international economy is reshaped.

Commencing 23rd November 2020, IMARC Online will provide an opportunity for Victoria’s resources sector to guide its future by connecting with the industry’s big international players in a virtual environment.

With an interactive program spread over several days, IMARC Online will include all the components participants have come to expect from Australia’s biggest and most successful mining conference, including workshops, keynote presentations and networking sessions.

A dynamic virtual pavilion will also showcase the latest mining projects, technology and innovation.

As noted by Head of Resources John Krabelski

“We’ve all learned new ways to work in 2020, the global resources industry can click and connect for IMARC Online – same networking opportunities, engaging sessions and great content, just via a different portal.”
