Operation Victor-Cultivate : Homicide investigation, Tamborine Mountain

Police have launched a homicide investigation, Operation Victor-Cultivate, following the discovery of a man’s body at a Tamborine Mountain property on Thursday, June 29.

Emergency crews were called to the Tolima Drive address at approximately 12.15pm after reports of an unconscious male.

Upon arrival, a 37-year-old Tamborine Mountain man was located deceased inside the house.

He had sustained fatal head and upper body injuries.

The property was immediately declared a crime scene.

Specialist scientific and forensic officers are conducting examinations and investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision in the vicinity of Tolima Drive, particularly on Wednesday, June 28, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
