Optus coverage just got better in Shoalhaven

Telco switches on new sites in Manyana and Ulladulla

Optus has announced it will continue to improve coverage across the City of Shoalhaven after switching on two new mobile towers in the coastal towns of Manyana and Ulladulla.

The new towers are designed to provide dedicated coverage and capacity to Manyana and central Ulladulla. Optus has invested over $1 million into these sites which will enable greater access for residents and visitors to the towns to make and receive calls, texts and access mobile data.

Optus Territory General Manager for Central West New South Wales, Tom ODea said, The city of Shoalhaven has a lot on offer and is a hotspot for water sports and nature walks, with the warmer months being a significant draw card for tourists.

The new sites will cater to this seasonal traffic, ensuring the local community and holiday makers in Manyana and Ulladulla can stay connected with reliable mobile reception even during peak times.

We understand the importance for tourism destinations like Shoalhaven to have dedicated mobile reception and capacity, which is why we are committed to providing great coverage, choice and value to our customers across the region.

These new towers follow on from Optus recent announcements of a new site at Burrill Lake and co-location on an existing site at Lake Conjola, which have provided enhanced mobile coverage and capacity to the areas. We are thrilled to know our customers are benefitting from our continued network investment in Shoalhaven.

Manyana and Ulladulla are two of hundreds of regional areas enjoying Optus 4G network which now covers 97.3 percent of the Australian population.
