A man has been charged over an alleged $1.2 million fraud after a search warrant was executed at a home in Sydney’s south west today.
In May 2019, detectives from Quakers Hill Police Area Command commenced an investigation into a 44-year-old man who had been employed at a marketing services company for the past ten years.
It’s alleged the man made 1,474 personal related transactions using company credit cards, with the transactions totalling $1,242,766.
Following inquiries, about 6.45am today (Wednesday 30 October 2019), officers from Quakers Hills Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Estuary Crescent, The Ponds.
The 44-year-old man was arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station where he was charged with 62 counts for the offence dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception, and one count of deal with proceeds of crime.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Monday 25 November 2019.
