Padbury Scrub Fire

Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating a scrub fire that occurred in Padbury about 8am today, Sunday 3 March 2024.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) personnel were called and quickly extinguished the fire in bushland on the east side of Marmion Avenue, between Giles and Flinders Avenues in Padbury.

The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and Strike Force Vulcan officers wish to speak anyone who saw any suspicious people, vehicles, or activity in the area of the fire.

Anyone with any information relating to this fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
