A new interactive exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum presents a luminous sea adventure, Sea of Light by Patch Theatre, in partnership with Sydney Festival.
Sea of Light brings together magic and light with a gentle soundscape to create a unique experience for the whole family.
Traverse the sand with a UV torch as your paintbrush, to paint and stencil your own voyage in light. Steer ships that leave glowing paths of light in their wake as you sail them across the seas, then dive below the surface to uncover luminous treasures in hidden reef worlds.
Sea of Light is an immersive, phosphorescent playscape that invites participants to sketch, sail, bounce, crawl and squiggle their way through a series of creative and captivating interactive installations.
The event will run from December 26 to January 30 2022.
Bookings are essential. Entry included in general admission to the Maritime Museum.
Recommended for ages 4 and up.
