A man has been struck by a car in Sydney’s CBD this morning.
Just before 8am (Friday 21 February 2020), a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was crossing at the traffic lights at the corner of Bathurst and Castlereagh Streets when he was knocked over by a white Toyota Hilux ute.
Emergency services were called to the location and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for a suspected fractured pelvis.
He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
The 31-year-old male driver of the ute stopped to assist and was breath tested at the scene.; he returned a negative result.
The driver of a bus, who police believe may also have been involved in the collision, stopped to assist. The 52-year-woman was submitted to a breath test and returned a negative result.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command continue their investigations into the incident and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that could assist.
