Pets of QUT unite for Twitter challenge

Just because you’re studying or working at home doesn’t mean you have to be lonely … especially if you have a pet.

The “Pets of QUT” Twitter challenge has been an obvious excuse to show off our animal friends over the past month, with plenty of posts featuring playful pooches and comic cats.

Other pets like fish and budgies also qualify for the challenge.

Although we’re not so sure about sharing photos of your live kombucha as pets…

Here are my #PetsOfQUT kombucha SCOBY and beetroot lacto ferment. #microbes are the best pets. Totally acceptable to eat and drink them. pic.twitter.com/AxS4MKSHws

It’s not too late to join in. Just share your photos on Twitter with #PetsofQUT and @QUT. There’s no prize, but there’s plenty of glory.

It’s been brought to our attention that some other universities think they have the “best and cutest” pets.

Our scientific research suggests otherwise. #PetsOfUNSW #AusUniPetWars pic.twitter.com/86pAX3gwKQ

Of course, no other uni stands a chance against the combined cuteness of our QUTies.
