Police appeal to locate man missing from Moree

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state’s central north.

Mark Morrison, aged 62, was last seen in Moree about two weeks ago.

When he could not be located, about 12pm on Sunday 16 April 2023 officers attached to New England Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Mark is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 172cm tall, of thin build with brown hair and a beard.

He also wears glasses and may go by the nickname “Fang”.

He is known to work and travel across the state’s central north.
