A search is underway for a man reported missing in Sydney’s north.
Leison ‘Leon’ Xie, aged 41, was last seen at a lookout on Galston Road, Hornsby Heights, about 11.30am yesterday (Saturday 1 July 2023).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Serious concerns are held for his welfare.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 170cm to 175cm tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
A search of the area will resume this morning (Sunday 2 July 2023); local police will be assisted by the Dog Unit and PolAir.
As the search continues, police are urging anyone who has seen Leon, or may know of his whereabouts, to contact them.
