Police appeals for help to locate man Michael Galvin

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 82-year-old man Michael Galvin.

The Tarneit man was last seen walking in a westernly direction along Myers Street, near Moorabool Street, in Geelong about 1.45pm today.

He attended a medical appointment with his wife at Geelong Hospital and disappeared while his wife went to get their car.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and he has a number of medical conditions.

Police have released an image of Michael in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

He is described about being about 182cm tall with a shaved head, glasses and was last seen wearing a brown jumper, biege pants and brown shoes.

Anyone with information about Michael’s whereabouts is asked to Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
