Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Blackburn South teenager Ella Fleetwood.
The 13-year-old was last seen leaving Box Hill High School at the intersection of Whitehorse and Middleborough roads about 12pm yesterday.
Family and police are concerned for her welfare due to her age.
Ella is described as having a slight build, light brown/highlighted blonde shoulder-length hair, blue eyes and freckles.
She was last seen wearing a navy/dark jumper, black shorts and black sneakers.
Police have released an image of Ella in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Ella is urged to call Forest Hill Police Station on 8847 3600.
