Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Lalor teen Rico Van Straaten.
The 16-year-old was last seen in Lalor yesterday afternoon (3 November).
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and his disappearance is out of character.
Rico was last seen wearing a yellow hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants, and black Nike runners with white soles.
Police have released an image of him in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
He in known to frequent the Epping, Lalor and Thomastown areas.
