Police are currently at the scene of a fatal collision in Yering.
It is believed a car travelling north along the Melba Highway and a truck travelling south collided about 9.40am.
The driver and sole occupant of the sedan, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
The male truck driver sustained minor injuries and was conveyed to hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
