Police are investigating a fatal crash in Diggers Rest this morning.
Emergency services were called to Plumpton Road about midnight following reports a car had struck a pole.
There were two occupants in the vehicle, a male has died at the scene, a female will be airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are attending the scene.
