Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of a motorcycle and car crash in Chermside yesterday morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 8.50am both vehicles were travelling outbound on Gympie road when they collided, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike.
The crash occurred just prior to Chermside Shopping Centre in the northbound lanes.
The motorcyclist was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Anyone who saw a grey Suzuki motorbike or a red Mazda 2 travelling north on Gympie Road prior to 8.50am is urged to contact police.
