Police arrested and charged a man last night following reports he allegedly started a small fire in Johnsonville about 6.45pm.
The 36-year-old man, from no fixed address, was arrested on Punt Road about 6.45pm.
He has been charged with recklessly cause bush fire and drug related offences.
He will appear at Bairnsdale Magistrates’ Court this morning.
