Police arrest man over hotel robbery in August, South Australia

A man has been arrested in Port Lincoln today following an investigation into a northern suburbs hotel robbery last year.

It will be alleged on Friday 30 August, the man entered the gaming room of the Martins Road, Parafield Gardens licensed premises armed with a firearm, threatened staff and stole money.

Fortunately, no one was physically injured during the robbery.

Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 45-year-old Parafield Gardens man today and charged him with aggravated robbery. The man did not apply for bail and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 24 January.
