Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a collision in Mildura yesterday evening.
The 57-year-old man from New South Wales has been charged with multiple offences including:
- dangerous driving causing serious injury
- four counts of reckless conduct endanger life
- drive in a manner dangerous/speed dangerous
- intentionally cause injury.
He will appear before Mildura Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
The charges follow an alleged incident about 11pm in Langtree Mall on Thursday, 6 August.
Police will allege the man, driving a Ford Ranger Utility, was involved in a collision with two 12-year-old boys who were riding a motorised bike in the mall.
Both boys remain in hospital with serious injuries.
