Police have charged a man after he was allegedly located with a firearm in Pakenham on Monday.
Emergency services were called to reports a man was unresponsive on Railway Avenue about 3.40pm.
A firearm and drugs were allegedly found on the man and seized by police.
He was taken to hospital for observation.
The 33-year-old Sunshine man has been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled weapon and drugs offences.
He will appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 8 November 2023.
