Police continue to investigate Narre Warren affray

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding an affray in Narre Warren last night (Tuesday 14 May).

It is understood approximately 30 people, mostly females in their mid to late teens, gathered at a Fountain Drive reserve about 9.30pm when a fight broke out between the two parties.

Four girls were injured during the incident.

A 17-year-old was treated by paramedics at the scene for non-life threatening injuries and conveyed to hospital.

A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old presented at a local hospital:

– The 16-year-old was treated for stab wounds to her back and arm and was subsequently conveyed to a children’s hospital for further treatment.

– The 17-year-old was treated for lacerations to her hand before being discharged.

A 20-year-old girl sustained injuries to her hand but declined further medical treatment at the scene.

No charges have been laid at this time and investigators are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
