Police investigate armed robbery at Bundaberg

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a grocery store on McLean Street, Bundaberg this afternoon.

At about 4.35pm, two males have entered the store wearing black hooded jumpers. One of the males has threatened staff with a knife and demanded money.

Both men fled the store a short time later with a quantity of cash.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Both males are described as Caucasian with slim builds.

Officers conducted patrols throughout the area but were unable to locate any persons matching the description provided by staff.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant information to contact police.
