Police investigate armed robbery at Macgregor

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Macgregor this morning.

At around 3am a man entered the business at the intersection of Mains Road and Musgrave Road, armed with a metal bat.

He demanded money and cigarettes from a female staff member, who complied with the man’s demands.

He was last seen walking towards Musgrave Road.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is aged in his early to mid 20’s and had a proportionate build. He was wearing a dark padded hooded zip up jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
