Police investigate armed robbery in Moorabbin

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Moorabbin last month.

It is understood two men, one armed with a firearm, entered a business on Wren Road, about 11.20am on Wednesday 20 December.

Officers have been told the men approached two workers and demanded cash and a mobile phone.

One of the workers was assaulted during the incident, sustaining minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.

Detectives have released images of two men they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The first man is perceived to be approximately 183cm tall, with a solid build, wearing a red helmet, dark hoodie with “07” logo on the front.

The second man is perceived to be approximately 183cm tall, with a solid build, wearing a blue helmet, dark hoodie with a grey hood and a multi-zip black backpack.
