Police investigate burglary in Langwarrin

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a burglary in Langwarrin last week.

A grey Ford Ranger Raptor with false plates parked outside a property on Elm Grove about 8.30am on Thursday, 12 October.

It is understood a man and woman got out of the vehicle and entered the house through an unlocked internal garage door.

Police were told they were disturbed by a neighbour and fled the scene in the vehicle.

There were no injuries and nothing was taken.

Investigators have released an image of a vehicle believed to have been used in the incident and a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as having a large build, aged in his early 30s with a shaved head and dark-coloured tattoos.

He was wearing a hi-vis vest and white sneakers.

The woman is perceived to be Caucasian, aged in her early 30s with long blonde hair.
