Police investigate injuries to man at Christies Beach

Police are investigating after an injured man presented at a Christies Beach service station overnight.

Just after 10.30pm on Tuesday 24 October, police and paramedics were called to a service station on Dyson Road after a man walked in with a serious wound to his neck.

Police responded and provided first aid to the 43-year-old Morphett Vale man before ambulance officers rushed him to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

Southern District CIB detectives and Forensic Response crime scene officers attended the service station to investigate the incident.

Police are investigating how the man sustained his injuries as well as where it may have occurred.
