Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Melton earlier this evening.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was located deceased on Church Street about 5.50pm.
Investigators are processing a possible crime scene on High Street and are speaking to a 22-year-old local man who is assisting them with enquiries.
The victim is yet to be formally identified and investigators will await the result of a post-mortem to determine if the death is suspicious.
