Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a theft and subsequent deception in Ravenhall last month.
Investigators have been told a parked car was broken into outside a business on Panamax Road on 26 August between 11-11.30pm.
The offender/s have stolen a jacket containing the victim’s wallet.
Credit cards from the wallet were subsequently used at three service stations in the Caroline Springs and Sunshine area.
Investigators have released images of two males they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
