Around 8:15pm Monday 17th January 2024, emergency services were called to a 2-vehicle collision on Brooker Avenue, Hobart at the intersection of Brisbane Street.
The collision involved a motorcycle (black, Suzuki GSXR 1000 R1) and a vehicle (silver, Holden Captiva). The cause of the collision is not known at this time and is still under investigation by police.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 38 year old male, received serious injuries and was taken to the RHH. The male driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured and assisted police with their investigation.
Anyone who may have seen or have dashcam footage of the motorcycle or the vehicle in the Hobart area prior to the collision are asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
