Police investigate sexual assault at Fairfield

South Brisbane detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigations into the sexual assault of woman in Fairfield earlier this month.

At 10am on Thursday, October 8 a man has followed a woman for a short distance at Fairfield Train Station.

The man has attempted to touch the woman who has pushed him away and asked him to stop.

It is alleged the man has subsequently sexually assaulted the woman and run away towards Lagonda Street.

The man is described as Aboriginal, around 30-years old, 160cm tall with a slim build. At the time he was wearing a black Raiders hat, a black Adidas track suit and black Nike shoes.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who knows the man’s identity, or may have witnessed the incident, to contact police.
