Warrnambool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a parked car in Warrnambool last month.
Emergency services were called to a property on Birdwood Avenue about 7.25am on 29 May.
The car, that was parked in a driveway, was destroyed in the blaze.
Investigators have released an image and CCTV of a male who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, wearing a dark hoody, grey track pants, white runners and carrying a bag.
