Police are investigating a fatal crash in Huonville early this morning where a male pedestrian died as a result of being struck by a car.
Around 1.25am emergency services responded to a report of a man being struck by a car on Wilmot Road.
A 26-year-old man from the Huon Valley was declared deceased at the scene.
A woman was taken into custody at the crash scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
