Police investigating wounding at Brisbane City 6 August

Detectives have declared a crime scene in the foyer of an apartment complex in Brisbane City after a twenty-year-old man was stabbed this morning, August 6.

First response police arrived at 1.15am and rendered first aid to the man, who had injuries consistent with several wounds.

An area on the corner of Albert Street and Mary Street will be remain guarded and be examined by forensic police.

The man was transported under police guard to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An eighteen-year-old man is assisting police with enquiries.
