Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man following an alleged shooting in Taylors Lakes on Friday, 26 August.
Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man on Melton Highway about 7.45pm.
A 37-year-old Taylors Lakes man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 30-year-old Taylors Lakes man was arrested on Thursday 1 September and was interviewed by detectives.
He has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury and firearms offences and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrate’s Court today.
