Northern Territory Police have charged a woman after a domestic violence related aggravated assault in Tennant Creek overnight.
Around 10pm, police received reports a 25-year-old man had been assaulted with an edged weapon in the vicinity of Limonite Street, Tennant Creek. The man received lacerations to his head requiring treatment at the Tennant Creek Hospital, he has since been discharged.
A 21-year-old female was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
She has been bailed to appear in Tennant Creek Local Court on 15 August 2023.
