Police lay charges – Domestic violence in Darwin 19 April

Northern Territory Police have charged a 25-year-old man with multiple domestic violence offences.

The male allegedly used a number of different weapons during the several attacks against the victim.

The Domestic and Family Violence Unit took carriage of the matter, and the man was arrested yesterday.

The man has been charged with the following:

  • Recklessly endangering serious harm x 3
  • Engage in conduct that contravenes a Domestic Violence Order x 4
  • Aggravated assault

He will appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Police would like to thank the members of the victim’s family and members of the local community who reported this matter to the Police.
