Police have arrested a man in relation to a non-fatal shooting in Whittington.
Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating an incident where a man was shot.
Emergency services were called to Freesia Court to reports a man had sustained a gun-shot wound about 5.40pm on Wednesday, 22 March.
A 55-year-old Whittington man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A man was arrested on Hollows Court in Grovedale just after 3.30pm today and is currently being interviewed.
