Police Officer Charged Northern Region

A 32-year-old male Senior Constable from the Northern Region has been issued a notice to appear in relation to alleged domestic violence behaviour and further charged with obstruct police and failing to pay for fuel.

The member has been charged with contravention of a police protection notice, allegedly committed while off duty and is expected to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on 11 August 2026.

The member has further been charged with two counts of fraud and one count of obstruct police after failing to pay for fuel in a separate incident. The member is expected to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on 5 August 2026.

The member has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service.
