A 45-year-old male sergeant from State Crime Command has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and has been tasked to perform non-operational duties.
The officer is the subject of an investigation into an allegation of inappropriate access to confidential information. He is expected to next appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on August 21 over the offence of computer hacking.
