Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Brisbane City

Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Brisbane City this morning.

Around 9.45am on Skew Street, a motorcyclist lost control and fell onto the roadway before being struck by a bus.

The 45-year-old male rider from Wynnum West was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the bus was not physically injured.

The southbound lanes of the William Jolly Bridge were closed for several hours.

Forensic Crash investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to contact police.
