Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Brisbane Airport

Police from the Forensic Crash Unit are instigating a single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred near the Brisbane Airport this afternoon (October 23).

Initial investigations indicate just after 4pm a motorists found a motorcycle lying beside Main Mertyltown Road

The 25-year-old rider from Pinkenba was found nearby and had succumbed to his injuries.

Main Myrtletown Road has reopened to traffic.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the rider in the area on black Yamaha motorcycle at that time, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to contact them.
