Police are investigating following a fatal truck crash at Woolsthorpe this morning (1 May).
Emergency services were called to Woolsthorpe-Hexham Road about 4.35am following reports of a truck on its roof.
The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased.
Police are yet to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and the investigation remains ongoing.
Road closures are currently in place in both directions.
