Police responding to serious traffic crash at East Toowoomba

Two people are in a critical condition following a single vehicle traffic crash in East Toowoomba early this morning, March 25.

Initial investigations indicate just after midnight, a Ford Fairmont was travelling northbound on Mackenzie Street when it has left the road and crashed into a tree.

An 18-year-old female passenger and 20-year-old male driver were transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a critical condition.

A second 18-year-old female passenger was transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police appeal to anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the incident, a blue 2007 Ford Fairmont sedan, or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
