Police Responding To Serious Traffic Crash At Speewah

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious traffic crash in Speewah this morning, 28 July.

Police were called to the Kennedy Highway just after 1am following reports a Toyota Landcruiser was travelling east when it collided with a tree next to the road.

The driver and sole occupant, a 34-year-old Mareeba man, was transported to Cairns Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations are ongoing and police are urging anyone with relevant information or vision to come forward.
